INFORMATION FOR VISITORS
Everyone is always welcome to stop by for a visit! Here are the answers to some FAQs and the links to some other information that we think you might find useful. Of course you are always encouraged to give us a call at 636-239-3178 or contact us via email at [email protected].
We understand that your first time at a new church can pose some questions, and we want to help you feel more comfortable by letting you know what to expect. PCW strives to practice Radical Hospitality. All our welcome! You will be warmly welcomed, without being singled out or smothered. No matter what your age, no matter where you come from, no matter who you are, you can find a home at PCW. If the following questions don’t address your concerns, please feel free to contact us.
Where do I park?
PCW has designated parking spots for visitors to provide easy access for our guests. But, please feel free to park elsewhere. We also have ample handicapped parking.
What about disabilities?
We are completely ADA accessible! Our building is all contained to one level. There are no stairs to be concerned about. We have parking spaces, restrooms and entryways that you will find entirely hospitable. We also have listening devices available for worship.
What should I expect in church?
Our service employs traditional music and liturgy. However, we do utilize technology to enhance the worship experience. During the service, tithes and offerings are received from those present. As our guest, there is never an obligation to make an offering, but of course your gifts are always welcome.
What should I wear?
You will find a wide array of attire at PCW. Some wear suits, ties and dresses. Others come in jeans. Whatever you are comfortable wearing is the right outfit of choice!
What about my kids?
Children of all ages are always welcome at PCW! Please feel free to have them sit with you. We have worship bags for younger children that are filled with fun activities for them. We also have a fully staffed nursery for your youngest children (typically 5 years old and younger). All staff and volunteers have been screened for your children’s protection. We also have a cry room for your convenience.
What happens after church?
You’re invited to join us for coffee and refreshments following the service in our lobby. This is a great time to meet other people just like you!
