This program began as an outreach program in our church in 1996. Its mission is to provide a time of respite for full time care-givers AND a loving, nurturing environment for children ages 18 months to 3 years. For many children it is their first experience of separation from their parents and opportunity to socialize with other children. Though PDO is a license-exempt program, it is subject to annual inspections from the Department of Health and Senior Services, the Fire Department, and the Health Department. The program is in compliance with all of their requirements. The program is overseen by a Board comprised of church members and the PDO staff. Teachers for 2010/2011 are Pamela Kellermann (Director) and Jane Bugele.

Both Church members and non-members are welcome to enroll their children. The program is available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. during the school year. Children may attend one or two days a week. Tuition is $16.00 a day (church members and siblings receive a $2 a day discount) AND there is a $30.00 registration fee.
